ABOUT US
Moe's Crop Dusting Service was originally formed over seventy years ago. Hal "Moe" Haughey owner of the business started his career and being interested in agricultural aviation while living and working inside a Yuba County hanger. In 1959, Moe was flying for Onstott Dusters and farming rice. A couple years later "Moe's Crop Dusting" was formed and run out of the Yuba County Airport. Years later Moe purchased the property on Pleasant Grove Road where the business still resides today. When Moe passed away in 2015, his son, Burt Haughey took over the business.

Flying was Burt's element! Having a father that flew Ag planes, it was inevitable that Burt was going to fly some day. At the age of 18, in 1978, Burt did his first solo flight. He worked by his fathers side in the agricultural aviation business, never giving a thought to the long days and hard work. The highlight of Burt's career was purchasing a brand new 802 Air Tractor and adding this workhorse to his existing Ag Cats. Prior to receiving his commercial wings, Burt farmed rice and custom farmed for many people throughout the Yuba Sutter area. This was his second passion. Tragically in 2019 Burt was killed in a midair collision while doing what he loved best flying his Ag Cat.
Today we continue to honor Burt and Moes legacy, providing our customers with the highest quality aerial application.
